Male management publicly on record calling a female subordinate "eye candy" would result in a minimum a suspension if not an outright firing at the vast majority of companies in the civilized world.

Good lord ever heard of making a mountain out of a mole hill?

Log off the internet and take a walk man - you are obviously perpetually online and it shows.

For the sake of your mental health go enjoy the weather or something other than social media.

Again your reaching and grasping at straws like the Reddit echo chamber.

If your such an aew fan why post 5x more about a company you claim to not watch yet seem to know more about then most people on here - seems a bit off like a disorder?

I was traveling and didn't get to see Dynasty. However large parts of the show have been posted on YouTube. The one thing that surprised me was Christian and Copeland not winning the tag titles.

Dynamite for this evening.

AEW Champion MJF vs. Darby Allin.
AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale vs. Kamille.
AEW TNT Champion Kevin Knight vs. Claudio Castagnoli.

Anyone else think Darby might win tonight? Have a short reign and MJF wins it back at Double Or Nothing.

Good prediction, crime dawg! Sort of makes sense since WWE isn't leaving any air for the rest of the organizations this week. Do something crazy and see if it tracks any whatsoever.

I didn't expect a squash though! MJF will probably win the belt back in a week or two, but it was definitely interesting.

Thanks, I get one right every now and then. Read somewhere MJF was off to do another movie and would be out a few weeks.

Collision airs tonight against TNA and then it was announced yesterday that Forbidden Door will be on June 28th which is the same day as TNA's Slammiversary show.

I don't blame TK for trying to push TNA a little after the events of the last few weeks. Might as well really give them something to gripe about.

It’s kinda anticlimactic when the dirt sheets openly report it 3 days in advance.

Strange MJF got squashed by Brody and Darby.

I’ve been really busy this week, but I didn’t see anyone speculating a title change until crime dawg here on the thread. But like I said, I’m sure I just missed it elsewhere.

With the rumors of LIV golf going under possibly by tomorrow, do you think the WWE relationship might end too.
They sold off some major soccer/football team they had too and are backing out of that flag football thing Brady and Logan Paul was in. The sovereign wealth fund financing all this stuff is being bled dry. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended the WWE partnership with how much it costs. Like they are paying WWE $250 million for WrestleMania next year. There’s virtually zero percent chance they will be making $250 million off WrestleMania even if WWE surrendered 100% of the on-site revenue for it to Saudi Arabia.

I don’t want to hear anything from TNA about Slammiversary running head to head. TNA’s anniversary is actually the week before, and this is the same weekend AEW has run for Forbidden Door every single year it’s been in North America. TNA should have done their homework about their own damn company and AEW. But Carlos Silva isn’t a serious person so that’s what happens when you let a man like that run the show.

AEW’s inconsistent overrun length played perfectly into the unpredictability of the main event last night and was actually used as an unstated plot device.

Last week they went nearly a half hour over with the main event starting around 10. Some weeks it’s only five or less minutes. Then other weeks it’s anywhere b

This week the main event started around 10, and at the beginning of it they announced it would be commercial free. So they had us thinking we were going to get a legitimate TV main event length match.

Yet we get a squash that ends in 3 minutes. Even with the online speculation and with a winner the was rather teed up during the show - especially once Sting popped up if you hadn't already figured it out when Darby was nearly brought to tears during his promo - not one single person ever even speculated we could be getting a shocking squash.

They managed to take a story that had been building for years (Sting said almost three years ago today that Darby would be the champ) with a predictable result and still managed to deliver an unpredictable shocker.

I disagree with the title change even though there should be one on weekly tv every few years.
1. Apparently everyone had been enjoying MJF's current run.
2. There's been an uptick in viewership and PPV attendance. You gotta credit the current champ for some of that.
3. If any part of the decision was based off taking eyes away from WM, it'll fail. Come tomorrow, no one will be talking about Darby and AEW until next Wed. The SD before Mania, HOF, Mania weekend, and the Raw after are just too massive.

The right play would've been to go from MJF to Ospreay in London, even if MJF has filming coming up. That may still happen but now some of the luster has been taken off that story with the insertion of Darby, a small guy who beat one of the guys in the company in quick fashion and anywhere else would be compared to Spike Dudley. Just my two cents. Mankind winning on Raw will still be remembered 30 years from now. Last night wasn't anything close to that.

It’s probably a blessing in disguise.
Hopefully they’ll give New Orleans the WM that was robbed from them this year.

Won’t be for all the people having to take pay cuts or getting cut. WWE wants to keep their talent payroll at 15% of total revenue thru 2028 according to WWE corporate documents.

They lose a $250 million guaranteed payday for Saudi Mania and that’s $37.5 million in wrestler salaries gone in the blink of an eye. That’s likely at minimum 30 main roster cuts with lord knows how many developmental cuts. And you know there would be significant layoffs for behind the scenes people.

They’ll make up some of that with site fees but no one else is going to pay anywhere remotely close to as much as that.

And he'll still win because of the stupid Pat McAfee stuff and what the alleged plans for Backlash are.

Also, don't know why they ever thought it was a good idea for Orton to be a WM headliner in 2026 when he's not a draw anymore. Then you have Pat McAfee going on national TV saying he can't believe tickets are still available when Randy Orton is on the show :ROFLMAO:

Back in 2024, they put NXT in St. Louis with Randy Orton main eventing. They sold so few tickets they had to move it to a 2K seater in Chesterfield, Missouri. If someone can't sell 2K tickets in Missouri for NXT as the headline attraction from day one then they aren't selling tickets for WrestleMania.

Your friend nick khan said it’s a go still so guess we we’ll see since it’s 12 months out. I know it’s corporate speak but still.

Why would he publicly say otherwise until it's officially not? Someone of his stature putting it out there that a $250 million dollar guaranteed revenue event might not happen would put a big hit on the stock price, I would think. Would be an incredibly stupid thing to do business wise, like potentially firing level bad if it had the stock impact I think it would.

BREAKING: Saraya (Paige) has reportedly signed with WWE and is set to return at WrestleMania 42

It was noted that Paige is expected to return to the company and could potentially compete in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way if Nikki Bella is unable to compete, as she has not yet been cleared from an ankle injury

Additionally, it was noted that WWE brought Paige to Las Vegas personally, where she took part in a training session earlier in the week as she prepares for her return
