This is my post:
There’s a reason for that. AEW continues to find ways to improve upon some of their own already staggering standards of PPV quality. If it’s not your thing, fine. Don’t see the point in denigrating others for simply enjoying the content. I would say AEW is about as enjoyable right now as any period of wrestling, for me, dating back to the early 1990s. Is the weekly television excellent? No. But everything is being built enough and the bell to bell action is about as satisfying as I’ve ever seen. That’s just me. I don’t do Reddit. I don’t do old man wrestling podcasts that gatekeep. I just fan. People dismissing AEW because of something someone else said about it is sad. It leaves those people missing out
^ What about that should bother ANYONE? lol. You say you appreciate different opinions…well, do you really? Does it upset you if someone says they’re enjoying AEW’s current product more than any other recent era? Does it bother you if someone feels that gatekeeping causes people to spend more time talking about what they hate rather than what they enjoy? Does it bother you if I say that podcasters engage in that intentionally because the drama drives engagement? Why not just say, “hey I’m laparkafan and I don’t like it as much”?
You may want to continue the “rivalry” and all that with American Dragon. I’m not interested in it. I don’t care if you think WWE is better, worse, or somewhere close to the same. I don’t come here to stoke the flames of some ideological war. I’m here to talk about a pastime of mine.
