He's gotten more mileage out of doing one thing well - the NWO - when he stole it from Japan than anyone else I can remember.

I’ll give him credit for the rise of Goldberg, the rise of Crow Sting (but also blame for the fall of it), building a strong midcard, interesting factions such as the Flock, outstanding production value, etc. He also largely helped destroy what he built.

That’s true. But Bischoff handled the storyline wonderfully until Starrcade.
