He just debuted in TNA this week for a live tv show, damn talk about some bad timing for TNA with heir biggest show coming up in two weeks.
Nothing embarrassing at all by his work forcing WWE admit to their own stupidity and then tuck their tail and run away like some little *itches from airing the show live.
Funniest thing about WWE admitting that is that in early August, when they claim they made the decision not to broadcast the show, the only thing advertised for Worlds Collide was CM Punk. They are basically admitting without directly saying it that CM Punk ain't the draw they thought he was.
Because if he was the draw they thought he was, then All Out wouldn't have sold out multiple weeks in advance, they wouldn't have had to pull the Worlds Collide broadcast to try to sell more Worlds Collide tickets, and Worlds Collide would have aired live.

Probably got a teeny tiny in the nether region or past midway through life without a single noteworthy achievement. Best I can hope for is belittling others for hobbies that have zero effect on me one way or the other.
As for Borden… awful injury. But I’m not buying the nonsense about having to be Eddie Guerrero to do a coast to coast. I watched Shane McMahon do about a hundred of them and take many calculated risks. This is not ballet and the performers assume the threat of death or serious injury every night. For some, this is nothing more than an opportunity to push their toxic angle about all-important brand loyalty. Sorry, most AEW fans don’t care bout WWE, what the worst of its fans think or winning these silly debates. We just want good wrestling. Watch what you like and enjoy it and let the AEW sickos do the same.
That's not something he should be doing with as basic as his move set is. I don't even think he's performed a duplex on AEW tv yet. Yet he's trying a coast to coast.

The stretch of matches from the International title to the Tag title ladder match was some tremendous wrestling.
The Trios title match is currently ranked as the 5th highest rated six-man tag match on Cagematch. In my mind, easily the best trios match in AEW history and we had a best of seven series with The Elite vs. Death Triangle.
Kofi hasn't been outside the WWE system since 2006, and even then it was for only like 10 matches from an unofficial WWE feeder indie fed. He had less experience outside of WWE than Steve Borden has in AEW. How quickly he has transitioned to AEW is stunning. Him and Austin feel like they are tailor made from AEW.
Can't wait for the eventual Swerve and New Level vs. The Elite trios rivalry and New Level vs. Bucks tag rivalry.

It's okay to criticize decisions made by either company and not toxic. Let's get away from that mindset. We're fans, not in cults lol. As Dragon said, his "move set" is basic right now. A coast to coast is risky for a veteran, stupid for a rookie on a big stage. And like I mentioned, it was done to achieve a simple chop. Shane was around wrestling for most of his life and was reffing and likely learning how to bump years before any of us noticed. He was also taking some of his biggest bumps at around 30-31. Age does matter a little here (DDP started late but never did high risk moves). This ain't a gotcha by WWE fans. Fans in general don't wanna see a dude crash and burn and hear the announcers scared for a guy who's just starting out. Fans also called out NXT when Ruca crashed and burned through a table from a platform against Zaira. Head first against a table for a rookie on her way to the main roster. It wasn't worth it and delayed her actual debut. As fans, we can call this stuff out or pretend everything is great and question nothing.
As far as the shows went, it was a W for Chicago and a W for both companies. One sold out and the other did what, close to 15k or something? That's insane. Neither company was hurt by what the other did.

Too many wrestlers are dying young. You have Brodie Lee and Bray Wyatt a couple of years ago. Now you have The Butcher and PAC. Who else are we going to lose much too early?
This happened a lot in 90s/2000s with Rick rude/eddie Guerrero/etc guess it goes in cycles.
Sadly, it’s a tough industry where a lot of people in it die prematurely.
It’s like if you go back and watch a PPV from the late 90s, you’ll come across matches where everyone in it is dead, with many having been dead for decades.
I was hoping with some of the industry changes (less roiding, less self medicating, no working through concussions, etc.) this was a thing of the past. We’ve lost several right around 40 in the last few years so it’s still happening.
Lance Archer and Marina Shafir did an indie show last night and both spoke. Archer said that “Pac was found tonight” which doesn’t sound like a car wreck.
