If something goes sideways at Crown Jewel, TKO might want to spend some of their money on an island so the executives have someplace to live their live in seclusion because there's going to be a lynch mob coming after them. And rightly so.
Can't help but laugh at TKO/WWE having business dealings with a country in the Middle East while supporting someone whose decision making caused more upheaval in the region with no clear path to get us out or end this. Iran isn't Venezuela or Cuba and we've been watching Russia fight little Ukraine for years. It's an insane blunder that no one wanted and few supported yet here we are.
This goes one of two ways imo - TKO will wait until a couple days before and cancel, likely through another govt. warning that makes it sound as if their hands are tied or they'll go and nothing happens. Billions of dollars are involved so businessmen doing business things aren't going to cut bait weeks before but also I think chances are low that a wrestling show is attacked and fans and wrestlers are killed. Things are shaky over there but that doesn't automatically mean death and destruction to anyone putting on a show.
But this is why you don't put yourselves in this situation and turn your backs on places like New Orleans or London for massive shows just because you'd rather w.hore out your company on a yearly basis, sometimes putting that company in places were conflicts are happening that we, in general, shouldn't be involved in.

Being reported that Bruce Prichard is retiring from WWE after WM next year.
NXT is moving to Wednesday night next week due to the election so naturally they are going to have John Cena and Cody appear.

Collision last week did a 0.10 in the demo, which is the same as what NXT did last week.

Moving Crown Jewel to just another venue in Riyadh is just … weird. Only thing I can figure is whatever they were going to be at had security concerns or tickets weren’t suing then what’s the point? With the attacks in Saudi being getting bombed, don’t think any sports venue in the world is going to hold up against that.
I’d be scared sh*tless with Iran allegedly planning to attack Americans in Saudi though. I very sincerely hope nothing happens because I don’t want anyone to get hurt or worse.

WWE running a copy and paste from two years ago of Tiffy’s briefcase reign just further proves how stupid and pointless it was to have her win it again. I thought they were using AI to avoid stuff like this?

I’m surprised all NXT has announced from the main roster for NXT next week is appearances from Cody and Cena.
Cody was a lock for this show regardless of when it would air because of the Dusty Classic finals.
Cena’s a good addition but the novelty of it is a bit diluted when he’ll be on Raw two days before. I don’t know how much of a draw Cena appearing as a corporate suit will be though. I can’t imagine anyone who wants to watch Blood and Guts is going to be enticed by that.
I know they got a “PLE” this weekend so maybe they’ll set up something else there.
They will need to beef it up more going up against Blood & Guts though. I know the story isn’t there for those matches like it has been in the past, but that show normally does much bigger than usual numbers. Match wise what they’ve got announced for next week is pretty lackluster at the moment.
Putting an unsanctioned match up against Blood & Guts is going to make WWE’s PG hardcore matches look like G rated content.
And no I’m not mad about them “counterprogramming” AEW. CW is preempting it because of election coverage, WWE didn’t have a choice of moving off Tuesday night. Wednesday would be the most logical night even if AEW didn’t exist, CW would be stupid to move it to any other night.

The Last Outfit would have been a lot more palatable name if the background behind it had been explored more in Switchblade’s promo. It’s supposed to be based on Al Capone’s The Chicago Outfit and the last part referring to how they are the last vestiges of The Bullet Club.

No idea. I honestly don't think I've seen a boxing match in probably 18 months, which is sad. Used to love boxing.

And he was so smooth catching it off the rebound as if he had planned it on purpose. But he could probably try to do that on purpose and never be able to do it again. If that would have been me I probably would have broken my nose.

Wonder who takes over the book in NXT then? Probably not sustainable to have someone HBK’s age to take on the workload of both jobs.
One of my friends said that looked like Captain America throwing and catching his shield in the Avengers flicks.
Can I tell you all how much I enjoy the storyline of the New Level not wanting to do a Texas Death match because they like everyone they've met in AEW so far? So they can either turn on Swerve at some point and stay the faces, or what I expect to happen (and prefer) is that they decide to go all sicko mode, heel out for real and do unspeakable things in the match. Either way, it has been a fun short story with them.
Is there somewhere their numbers are posted? I've always wondered how many people listen to that channel.
