1-3 on the season with only win coming against a bad Clinton team which to be honest probably should have won that game. Have Goldsboro coming up after a bye week. Should win that one. I only see one more should be win on the schedule in Spring Creek. Where and what does Wallace do after this year? Will they make a change? I like our current coach no doubt but WRH has very high standards and some of the natives are getting restless. Hopefully we dont jump the gun to quick make a hasty decision. Injuries have played a roll in the bad start no doubt but there seems to be other issues going on as well, players seem not to be engaged to me. I may be totally off on that but I noticed it before the Clinton game and noticed their body language was just no where it needed to be. They do not seem to be fired up and ready to go. Maybe a win will help get their confidence back up. What are your thoughts??

If I am not mistaken, the last title game appearance was in 21? That's not terribly long ago, and I know many fans wish they could say their team has been that recently. With that said, I also understand the fan base has very high expectations. I am interested in seeing how it all unfolds, that's for sure.

what I do see is a lot of close losses to good teams, minus the ED Shutout.

As I have posted before, WRH has these years every so often. I don’t understand it but it definitely happens. They have the players and I like Mot as coach but these years happen every 5 years or so.

If everyone has been paying attention the talent level coming out of of their middle schools the last 3 years has been way below WRH standards. It's just hasn't been loaded with D1/NFL running backs and other positions.. JK and ED middle schools have been beating them badly. North Duplin middle school has been beating them lots of the time too. This is not 💯 true but for most part true. That use to never happen. Wallace always had a very high talent level incoming. JK ED and ND youth programs are thriving. Wallace has been a down there also for their standards. This year is yet to be seen. The start of this is now juniors at WRH now the coaches become more important that ever. And that's not cutting Mott at all just he's got to really coach them up more that ever. Probably change back the other way soon. Just my opinion.

I am too lazy to research the posts but it was within the last 8-10 years that they were saying the same thing about James Kenan. I believe it was about the time the new coach came from the western part of the state. I guess it runs in cycles.
