Nightmare. Went running today and got back in the truck at 102. I guess I should check on the way to the nature park next time.

My collard greens and spinach are pissed off. Maters are happy of course.

The wind actually doesn't help. It feels like someone is holding you down and pointing a hair dryer in your face.

Funny, earlier in the week it was below freezing at night once and in the thirties two other days.

I like it for just a day or so to dry everything up but if it does it for a few days it just bakes the top inch of soil and makes it hard as a brick.

Yeah the drought two summers ago had the yard cracked to hell and back. In one area you could put a garden rake in it all the way to the metal. Ridiculous. Hoping this doesn't continue.

I would love about 30 days of dry weather. Can't catch anything because of all the fresh water in the bays and sound.
