Announcer mentioning Pat Riley in attendance and lost a National Title game to Texas Western University.....of course, modern day that is now UTEP. I had forgotten they had a NC in basketball. If I had been a graduate of UTEP, I would have rather my school been known as The University of West Texas than the University of Texas El Paso. UTEP always made me feel like it was a UT Chattanooga name or one like that. I wouldn't have wanted any connection to the T-sippers at all. Half my family is from El Paso, so pardon me for bringing this up.

A quick google search told me this logo was altered to have a different tongue in the 1990’s due to it’s phallic undertones. The new one depicting 2 birds came out in 2016. It’s still funny though.
