WTF is up with our student section??

They were loud last night. Louder than the west side where I was sitting. Nit sure what you are talking about.
They were loud and loud the entire game. You are wright they were way louder than the West Side. I was happy with the way the student section represented.
I thought the exact same thing. Any time your student section reminds you of a church service, it’s a bad thing.

I don’t know how anyone can’t look at that stadium last night and complain about the student section.
They were the only ones that showed up. 45k attendance for a big non-con game and the student section was packed. That shows how empty the rest of the stadium was.
Old heads and alumni need to quit complaining about everything and show up.
They do that when we do the "Hell's Bells" gongs over the PA. It's pretty funny, I think.
The students were great last night.
There was a moment when watching where the camera cut to the crowd and it looked like the students were playing handbells.
But it sure seemed Ike the students were active and loud, so no complaints.

Is there a secret bet among some Sixpack posters as to who can complain about the dumbest thing? The students filled up their section and were loud the whole game. No matter. The way they ring their bells is weird!
Agreed. Memories is an all time classic track and the whole album is awesome. I’d rate it much higher than 20 year old men ringing their cowbells like a bunch of sissies. (Trying to stay on the topic of the thread.)
Some of y’all complain about the weirdest things. I may keep track of all the complaints for a list to post at the end of the season.
The students did an awesome job last night.
Similar to rhythmic applause, they started a "USA" chant a few times with rhythmic clanging. Early they had a special message for old Joe with rhythmic clanging. All of it was beautiful.

I think this predominantly boils down to WHEN the cameras & ESPN choose to showcase the section rather than HOW active the section was.
That said, watching from my garage in sounded like way too many fans, regardless of section, were ringing while we were at the line on offense.
Maybe that has something to do with the piped in bells folks were speculating about. I hope so.

Truemaroongrind, that would be an awesome list to make. Im always amazed at the ******** I see on this site. I swear its even more ridiculous when we win.
Agreed but bitching about our students not ringing their cowbells correctly may be carrying it "to the next level". It truly is amazing.
And you’re proud of what they did? As a two time graduate of Mississippi State I’m rather disappointed
so far this has been the most impressive our student section has been in a while in my opinion. They get there early and they are really loud all game.
I’ve started the list. I’m keeping track of usernames too. There will be some interesting trends by the end of the season.
