His dumbass decision making has come back in full force. Pitching Girodo with the bases loaded and then bringing in Stark instead of Holder in the 9th. I don't care if Holder did pitch two innings yesterday. If he is your best pitcher, you use him. Stark hasn't pitched in forever. Cohen cost us the sweep.

You don't care that he pitched 2 innings yesterday and the day before that, you still bring him in because he is your best pitcher? Really? Yeah, who cares about trying to save the guy for the rest of the season. Did Cohen do some stupid **** today? Yes. Not pitching Holder wasn't one of them

Cohen hadn't taken away our chance for a sweep. As it is, it's a good weekend marred by a blown opportunity.
Needed the sweep bad.

with Florida and Kentucky up our next two weekends. And we would have swept if Cohen hadn't reverted to idiot mode. His handling of a pitching staff makes Ron Polk look like Leo Mazzone.

the pitching changes, with the exception of Girodo.......That one was a killer........We had previous scoring opportunities that we didn't capitalize on and that's what hurt us.......1st and 3rd and not outs and you don't score ****.......Inexcuseable...........

But I was hoping we'd go at least 7-2 and pick up a sweep somewhere. It would've been great to go 8-1, and it stinks to be as close as we were (especially if that ball was fair). But we went 7-2, and we also got some favorable results elsewhere. All in all a nice run these last few weeks. Need to keep it up and finish strong. I'd love it if we could finish 16-14, but if we finish 15-15, we should be all but locked into a regional spot regardless of what happens in the SECT. <div>

My hope is 1 win at Florida and a series win against Kentucky....anything better is icing. Winning less than 3 is very possible though.

We had two outs in the bottom of the ninth with no one on. Our coach had us in a position to win. To me it boils down to Routt not being able to get ahead of the last two batters he faced. I thinks it's time to put him on the shelf. Also, with stratton and graveman, we are capable of winning a series against anyone at this point. I can't stand you dumb 17s who already have us winning just 2 to 3 the next two weekends. It's possible we don't win any but it's just as possible we could win b/t 3-5.

Florida and Kentucky are a LOT better than the teams we've faced the last 3 weekends. Both at the plate and on the mound. I'm hoping for 3, but 1 is just as likely as 3 is.

Was the first idiotic move by Cohen. The second being the decisions in the 9th to put Stark in, a guy that hasn't pitched in several weeks. <div>
</div><div>2 of 3 is nice and I'm glad we got it, but coaching credentials or not, even I can tell that it's idiotic to play 1) a guy that has been shelled every single time he's come in with guys on base 2) a guy that hasn't pitched in weeks to try get the final out. Those are stupid moves, something that Cohen has been infamous for a few times a year. Those that make you go "He did what??". </div><div>
</div><div>Now with that said, I support Cohen and want him to succeed. He was the coach I wanted and was ecstatic when we got him. I want him to be the one to finally get us that Championship in baseball... I even think he can do it. BUT, that doesn't restrict me from calling a move stupid when in fact it is. Some of you 17ers can't get off the Cohen worship long enough to even admit when he makes boneheaded decisions. That is textbook definition of insanity. So while you guys are a few steps away from a straight-jacket continue to lash out at me to gain internet "cred" with your other insane brethren. </div>

Butsome ofthem wound up working out. Overall, the pitching has been very good so it's hard to nitpick about that.
