He seems like a great kid and tremendous leader. I really hate this for him. I hope he can make a full recovery and get 2 more productive seasons and into the NFL. That kid deserves it as much as anyone I can think of. Supposedly, he graduated OM in 3 years(this previous May), so him sticking it out right here for love of the game with all the things he's gone through is pretty amazing.

It didn't heal correctly and they had to perform a second surgery a few months ago. There was talk that he could be 100% by late October, but it seems DT/OM are making a conscious decision not to push it...

He has been in Oxford all summer. He did not report with the team today because the NCAA has not cleared him yet, as he just finished a course last week. He is expected to be declared eligible sometime soon.

Hope for his sake he can get a medical redshirt. $%%% UM and all that but I hate to see a guy's career get wrecked by injuries. Unless he's Jeff Scott. To hell with that guy.

I hate to see him get bit two years in a row, weren't both preseason injuries?

Maybe this is why Freeze was chuckling about injuries. What else can you say about one of your best guys getting two consecutive years of them?
