A cop killed is a cop killed. This man went in to kill people. Cops were there. He targeted them. So, I say that's an assassination.....but keep making excuses to not show the hypocrisy of the right wing.

A few posters on this board said that the United States should openly declare war on Islam because only Muslims commit acts of terror. When I pointed out that other religions and people (ex. Boxers in China, Irish, and Christians) do so as well, they said "nope". I made the comment that focusing on ending terrorism that might kill 1,000 Americans each year while ignoring, or putting little effort in to the violence at home when Americans are killing Americans in the 10,000's each year.
Well, this guy is an American who committed an act of terror in the United States. I've heard little, to nothing, from those individuals on here.
Have they nailed down a motivation yet? Is he a sleeper cell from some as yet to be named terror group? He's a nut bag for sure...just not sure what type yet.

No, no I'm not. Others on here believe that Islam creates terrorists through its teachings. It's been said multiple times by multiple people on here. And the poster above is proving it by denying this AMERICAN as a terrorist...even though he fits the definition of "terrorism" to a tee.

Islam does create terrorism via its teachings. It is written i to their Bible. Suggesting otherwise is ignorant.

Christians do not go out and kill people, this guy is pretty deranged. Hopefully, Colorado has the death penalty.I think the shooter may have had issues. I mean, who builds their house in the middle of the road?
Colorado does have capital punishment, but I don't think they've executed anybody since the 70s. However, if he's charged and convicted federally, he would be more apt to be executed than by Colorado.
And this is my point.......Muslims kill people, Christians don't. Translation = if you kill someone and you are a Christian, then you are NOT a Christian thus it doesn't count as a "Christian" killing someone. However, if you are a Muslim and you kill someone, then you are still a Muslim. Wait....I'm confused.....
It is sickening to see right wingers deny and excuse the violent behavior that stems from their own dangerous rhetoric and positions. It never changes though since it is key to their strategy of fooling the ignorant public to support the GOP platform and playbook.
There is no form of mainstream Christianity that condones or even suggests violence as a resolution of disagreements or issues. There is a pretty large segment of Islam that preaches Jihad. That is the difference.

I have never heard of 4 of those and the Army of God is not a mainstream christian group by any means.

Islam, and the Quran, does create terrorists. That doesn't mean every Muslim is a terrorist, that every terrorist is Islamic, or that we should declare war on Islam. It just means a far greater percentage of Muslims will be terrorists than any other group on the planet.
