THREE losing seasons in 10 years!

And you want to throw Huggins under the bus?

After all, after 13-19 and 17-16 seasons Huggins went 25-10. 26-19, 28-9, 26-11. After 15-21 he went 21-10, 19-10.

College basketball is non-stop chaos for EVERY team. Hell, Kentucky went into a tailspin, even with the superstar who transferred from WVU, before finally beating a Top 25 team! I've watched many games this season and it's most like glorified playground basketball with passes thrown into the seats, shots missing the rim and backboard, free throws popping out, 3's more like fling and pray. WVU's problem is solving the 5 final minutes of the game. It's as if they enter the twilight zone. 56 missed free throws, 38 points gap in the 5 games and Huggins' guys are 0-5. It's depressing for me to wait for the late-game implosions but it has to be terrifying for the players and Huggins.

Huggins averaged 25 wins a season from 2007-08 to 2017-18.

He is averaging 17.75 from 2018-19 to 2021-22. These past five years shows the decline in Huggins teams. I'm biggest Huggins fan all time at WVU and even I can now see the decline.

He needs to retire and move on with his life. I fought hard in belief he would decide when he leaves. But I can see Wren asking him stop at seasons end.
