Not enough points. WVU matches up well with TCU, similar to Kansas State. Bet on WVU and lay the two points.

TCU has one of the worst offenses in Big 12 coming in at #8. Their Defense is avg at #5. Winnable game that should not be lost.

K State and TCU are polar opposites

K State is a team who doesn't have the talent but plays at a high level regardless.
Quality program. Hasn't changed after Bill Snyder

TCU has the talent. Plays a few games at a high level.
But something has been missing there. Supposedly this was the year for Duggan but he hasn't showed it every game

TCU has 5x the Sunday players as Kansas State.

If you consider college teams get 3 points for being on the road
They are saying TCU is -1 better than WVU.
So pretty much equal.

Tiny IQ poster strikes again. TCU, like Kansas State, recruits at a mediocre level, beats some teams at the top of the conference, but loses to others in the bottom half. Nothing special, and won't beat WVU with superior talent, as Oklahoma does. Stop stalking me, TVZ.+30.

Not about where you are ranked in recruiting
It is about what type of players you bring in.

Talking about a team who had 2 first round picks last year.
Has a lot of players who are Sunday players.

Try again.

I do think WVU has an advantage because of QBs

But don't underestimate the QB at TCU because he is inconsistent

Stop stalking me, tech nerd. The only difference between mediocre KSU and TCU is that the three-star recruits in Texas are better than the three-star recruits in the Midwest. Other than Tommy Herman, Gary Patterson is the most overrated coach in the Big 12. He is reputed to be a defensive guru, but his defenses usually stink. Patterson's offense hasn't been special since Boykin left. Mediocre team will likely lose in Morgantown.

So far that looks like how this season is going.

But TCU will be the best team talent wise to show up to play in Morgantown.

The running QB again will be an issue again plus TCU has showed the ability to run the ball well at times.

TCU gives the QB very tight windows to throw the ball.
Their defense is very similar to WVU...

Gary Patterson is pretty much one of the main architects of the 4-2-5
They want to stop the run and take away the mid range passing game.

GP goes all the way back.

Pretty much turned an oversize safety/undersize LB from Lovington, NM into a Hall of Famer in Brian Urlacher

Back in the late 1990s, a young defensive coordinator named Gary Patterson decided to adjust to offenses with a 4-2-5 base defense, using a fifth defensive back and only two linebackers. His reasoning was not only that it was easier for New Mexico to recruit speed than strength, but that the scheme produced more flexible defenses anyway.

For the rest of the college world, the idea of using extra DBs in situations other than third down was a gimmick, something for underdog schools that couldn’t recruit big guys.

Now? It’s more or less the accepted standard, even on first down in the Big Ten and SEC. The story of how we got here is tied inextricably to the rise of that other style once dismissed as a gimmick, the spread offense.

Nothing about him is overrated.

The clown who pretends to root for Texas is vomiting all over this thread because overrated Patterson is 7-2 vs. underachiever Texas. TCU is 10-15 in its last 25 Big 12 games. No way to polish that turd, no matter how many idiotic posts made by the fake Texas fan with 30+ handles, who is too cheap to subscribe to the board that he pollutes all day and night. 10-15, put that in your crack pipe, TVZ.

You are attempting to set WVU up for failure like always

You know Kansas State is no where close to TCU talent wise...

Not yet at least. Have to give them time because what they were able to do at North Dakota State was unbelievable.

When that game is close or if TCU beats them.

You can come back and tell everyone how horrible Neal Brown is because Neal Brown couldn't win the game.

If TCU plays at their ceiling. Looks like they have been recently.

This is going to be a very tough football game.
I just will give a slight advantage to WVU at QB
But Duggan is inconsistent.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt..

I am sure you understand this.
GP is probably one of the most respected coaches in the business

NFL teams come to him about Defense
Pete Carroll and Kris Richard created their Legend of Boom from his defense

Kam Chancellor became the hybrid player.

TCU is 10-15 in its last 25 games, and TVZ has been proven to be the dumbest poster on the Internet once again. Why would a Texas fan be throwing a tantrum because I'm allegedly setting WVU up for failure. As if I would have this incredible power. TVZ is a fraud, who has been exposed again. 30+ profiles, but not one smart or genuine one.

That is where the inconsistent QB play comes in...

Why I tell people that no matter how good your defense is you need a QB to win in the Big 12

Some of the attacks on Neal Brown are ridiculous.

Because like what has been said.
If Dana sucked as a coach Neal Brown isn't going to walk in and win 10 games in the Big 12

But like Gary Patterson..
What Neal Brown is trying to create at WVU can win the Big 12
Once they can get better QB play

I'm not attacking Neal Brown, moron, but it's interesting that a supposed Texas fan spends all day and night on a WVU message board defending him. Brown will likely outcoach overly emotional and overrated Patterson, who is 10-15 in his last 25 Big 12 games. Patterson would have been fired had he posted this record at Ohio State.

Here's how WVU and TCU have stacked up to common opponents:

vs. Texas
TCU---W 33-31
WVU---L 13-17

vs. KSU
TCU---L 14-21
WVU---W 37-10 (KSU QB out)

vs. Baylor
TCU---W 33-23
WVU---W 27-21

vs. Texas Tech
TCU---W 34-18
WVU--- L 27-34

Based on this TCU is at least as talented as WVU if not more so. WVU will have another tough battle on their hands to try to get a win.

I thought the HOME team got 3 points for being the home team. But I think I understand your point. Neutral field, TCU by 1, right?
