WVU will be the underdog in its first four Big 12 games.

If you believe 2015 ESPN preseason rankings, which often reflect 2014 more than 2015, then WVU is No. 33.

And will play No. 3 TCU on the road Oct. 29, No. 5 Baylor on the road Oct. 17, No. 15 Oklahoma on the road Oct. 3, No. 27 Texas in Mountaineer Field Nov. 14, No. 30 Oklahoma State at Mountaineer Field Oct. 10, No. 39 Kansas State on the road in the Dec. 5 finale, No. 47 Texas Tech at Mountaineer Field Nov. 7, No. 78 Maryland in Mountaineer Field Sept. 26, No. 86 Iowa State in Mountaineer Field Nov. 28, No. 113 Kansas on the road Nov. 21.

That projects to a 7-5 season.

We’ll see.

It's impossible to say if we'll be the underdog because you don't can't say how the other teams will be playing when we reach that point of the season. Texas at home? I'm saying we're a favorite in that one.
