He said Strick was the type of guy that wanted to see constant improvement, and would not tolerate any planing off or downward turn of momentum in any sport for any substantial amount of time. I think he will look at Bball as our only program that isn't showing signs of a rise on the flow chart, and this may have been Rick's chance to save his job with this team.

So far, he has been ahead of the curve on everything, so it wouldn't surprise me if after the Hawaii fight last year he gave Stan's a minimum requirement for this season. Based on the past two games, I would imagine Rick has already packed a few boxes bc he knows those requirements aren't going to be met, and he will be "retiring" after this years NIT run.

as to his future as our AD. I know when Byrne was an asst., he dispised the Recruiter. Something went down at the Hump during a practice and Stan's tried to show his *** at Byrne's expense. Well, when Byrne got the job, Stan's was freakin'. In steps Arizona and Strick. Strick has trained with Byrne and at other venues, but this will tell if he's got balls to do his job.

If we finish these last 5 games at 1-4 or worse, it's time.Strick keeps him around another year, then LT is back in the house with the good ole boy network coming back in to roost.

Strick will have to do his job sooner or later, or we'll be bitchin' 10 years down the line about the 2nd coming of Larry.

We make the Tourney- The Recruiter stays
We miss the Tourney- The Recruiter retires with severance and fishes with his boys next season
