Read the linked article. It looks like Ole Miss also tweets Yahtzee! Aren't they SEC?
And if they do, then put them in the lame category. When Nick Saban joins the trend, let me know.
It's goofy wherever it's done.

They probably think it's lame too. And I am sure they'd think you are lame.
They want to publicize the commitments...simple marketing.
Good for them. I'll throw them in the lame category.
I wonder if Sumlin also yells "yessir" every time one of his QB transfers?
How about we just react the way the other SEC fan bases do?
And how is that?
Ole Miss has beaten Saban 2 years in row.
Ole Miss has the #1 recruiting class. Last time that I checked Bama was #9.
And I'm sure the Nkemdiches signed with the Johnnies because some staffer tweeted Yahtzee.
Exactly how many points did Yahtzee account for in those two wins. Did they not use the Yahtzee mojo in their losses to Florida, TCU, Arkansas and Memphis?
You're reaching trying to translate some goofy slogan into performance on the field. That's just silly.
Holy crap I thought I couldn't see a bigger *****(fill in your own blank) than some of the trolls in years past, but 2 posters in This thread have renewed my confidence
Nah, he's enjoying every moment of this mischief. He's a Louisville fan, no doubt about it.Pedro Danger may be worse than CUT-NETS. I didn't think it was possible, but this guy lives in perpetual sorrow.
Pedro danger, welcome to my ignore list.
Yahtzee! Can we can the Yahtzee routine? That is not becoming of an SEC program.

Yahtzee!By not shouting some corny word every time a kid commits.

I'll just say this---every time I see a thread titled Yahtzee ---- I click on that baby.

It's corny regardless of origination. Wreaks of desperation and inexperience to me.
It's simple all right.
I suppose you mean "reeks", not "wreaks". LOL
At any rate, the phrase denotes neither inexperience (tons of seasoned coaches across the country use catchphrases to celebrate recruiting victories) nor desperation (the best recruiters in the country recognize its validity).
Your comment in rooted in insecurity, an obsession with how other people might view our program instead of the actual results from the tactic, and that is sad.
How about Jenga! Or Pass Go! What about King me! Or Go Fish! And then there's always BINGO!Anyone else feel a little awkward using "Yahtzee" when we **** canned the guy who coined the phrase?
