I think Vertical is measured by standing next too measuring device . Measuring reach and then jumping up touching a measuring devise. The difference is the Vertical.

I may be wrong but that's the way I have seen it done.</p>

i shouldn't have used the word vertical because there truly is a method by which it is measured. all i really meant was "holy **** have you seen how high this guy can jump!!!!"

There is nothing in that video to indicate that the water is waist deep on that man. It does however remind me of a story on Bo Jackson. Supposedly one of his high school coaches saw him do a back flip out in a pond while standing in thigh deep water.
