That 2nd possession of the 2nd half where we ran double screen actions up top for Hubbard and ended up hitting Nwoko on the roll for a foul is a good example of how Jans offense should work.

You can honestly tell when someone knows basketball or not with how easily upset they get and live and die by every possession or the first half.
We’re playing well in the second half so far, so of course this thread goes silent. Like clockwork.
Honestly, I think this is a great matchup for our team. USC plays hard, but their interior defense is questionable. Murphy, Nwoko & Cam get a lot of good looks inside against them.

I see that we need a ball handler in the worst way. It is killing the play-by-play guys that we are leading in this game, and South Carolina is not in it.
Are we listening to the same game? The color guy seems to really like our team.
Our depth and defense wears on teams, which allows us to separate in the second half.
I just don’t understand the relentless negativity from some of y’all on here. We’re pretty much dominating the game but because we didn’t jump out 20-0 in the first 10 minutes, there were Jans sucks and hire Will Wade posts. Then when we start playing well, crickets. It’s like some of y’all are only happy when you can be negative. We get enough negativity from football. Basketball is actually a very good team. No need for such negativity.
I feel like there are basically two keys to our success when you really boil it down
1) One of our guards(Kugel or Harris) taking the offensive pressure off of Hubbard. After all, it's becoming pretty clear that 4-15 is what we should expect there
2) Opposing teams not shooting 45% or better from 3
Take care of those two things, and we're in pretty good shape on most nights

I guess if you know basketball you just casually watch as your team falls behind by 20 ? Anyway...if Murphy keeps improving and Hubbard gets comfortable again this team might be dangerous. I like to watch Murphy play
The one thing worse than any negativity is people complaining about the tenor of message board posts. Of course the “fire Jans” people are stupid. But so are all the pearl clutchers.
Cam has 0 points and zero rebounds. He’s hardly a bright spot in this game.
