I don't know how many readers or posters are on here but it would be nice if Stricklin could get a head count because you know he reads this board. Just respond with a simple yay or nay in the subject line. I think a 6 page thread of usernames would be at least a little convincing.

I like the guy and what he has done for MSU but I think our team's lack of effort is a reflection of his

The objective (NCAA tourney) was clear, and he failed. It's time for a change.

I came to this conclusion after the Alabama game...and what transpired after the game. To be fair I wanted to wait to see how the end of the season would go before making that conclusion for the first time. I've always defended Stans...and with good reason...but it's time. Do it now while we still have a glimmer of talent to transform....and don't let this flounder out another year or so like we did with Jackie...and end up having to rebuild from scratch.

Offer him an administration job. Somehow keep the man involved in the passing-outings of Bryan hotdogs.

He has wrecked the program and divided the fan base. The only way to move forward united as a fan base is with a new coach. It is highway robbery to pay R.S. a salary for the job or lack thereof he has done for the past two seasons.

For his sake I hope he does retire, voluntarily or not. If he's back next year, it's going toget real ugly. He needs to retire and take an assistant AD job working with fundraising until he gets his 25 years in, and leave on a relatively good note.

We can do better than losing 7 of our last 9 games, go 1 and done in the NIT, and in that game have 3 guys on the opposing team with 4 fouls for 13 minutes of the game and none of them foul out, and one of those guys with a torn knee and he end up beating us. I'm done.
