Who will make the case for her having a gun? Crickets. For an NFL linebacker anything could be used as a weapon. Her best chance would have been a firearm. Very sad.

I never understood the yahoos who claim gun violence would go away if we didn't have guns. If we didn't have guns we'd need knife control. A big guy like him could have just beaten the crap out of her, does weight lifting need to be regulated too? The truth is I have a gun, most of you have a gun, most of the male members in my family have a gun... And none of us have ever so much as pointed it at anyone.

I actually heard a stat once that said there had only been 2 confirmed cases where a "legally" owned class 3 weapon (full auto) had been used in a crime. Both incidents involved the Mac 11 if I'm not mistaken. I would need to go do some extra research on that though.
That's the whole thing. Take legal guns out of people's hands, and then they will just get shot by all the people who illegally have guns. It's like a great Chris Rock quote. "Don't go to parties with metal detectors. Sure it feels safe inside, but what about all those n****** waitin' outside with guns? They know you ain't got one."
