I can understand some people's frustration, but Jonathan Holmes did not do a bad job of announcing the block record. Sure he could have put more emphasis in it, but it wasn't a bad job. After reading some threads yesterday I thought Holmes was bashing Varnado instead of praising him.

is that if Varnado played for Duke or Notre Dame- I have no idea why ESPN loves that basketball team other than Digger Phelps, I guess- it would be at the top of Sportscenter.

I don't remember that it did. It should get some, it's a career record, and most all of those are big news, but it's not like only your guy is getting shafted.

that is beside the point and it isn't what i said in the first place.

my point was 1) he should get more pub for it and 2) if he had been a Ron Artest type controversial player then he would get all the pub he could stand for finally doing something right
