our games are just BORING. I can see why fans who aren't the extreme loyal type don't come out to our ballpark in droves. Its just not very entertaining. Good pitching and defense coupled with totally anemic hitting isnt' all that exciting. Of course now I would much rather win 2-1 than lose 10-9, I'm just talking purely from an entertainment perspective when you aren't hitting any balls hard.

I came over to watch the game with my dad and he was saying the exact same thing you just posted...I argued that it's not dull, but it's just a different game now based on the new bats..Although we both agree that we're tired of seeing our guys watch strike 3

This is the way baseball was meant to be played. Steroids and the loaded bats changed baseball, and now it's just back to what it originally was. I know people love the long ball, but taking that away brings back the bunt and more stolen base attempts, hit and runs, etc. I mean when LSU hit like 20 home runs in Omaha one of the years Skip was there, that was not real baseball.

The lack of homers doesn't frustrate me it's that we can't string hits together and score runs. I wasn't a fan of gorilla ball but when you can't even get base hits it sucks to watch.
