I would even go out there and say that Mullen out coached Les Miles Saturday. We had a good game plan offensively, and besides the few big plays we gave up the defense played great. Dan Mullen's scheme and the intensity he has instilled in this team will keep us in almost every game the rest of the year. LSU punched us in the mouth 3 times with the pick 6, the Brandon Lafell TD on their 1st possession of the 2nd half, and the other TD pass they had, and each time we came right back and scored. A Croom team would not have done that. Dan Mullen may will us to a win or 2 this year just based on his personality and intensity that he makes our team have. I think we have ourselves a very good head coach and a pretty decent coaching staff. We had no business turning the ball over 5 times to LSU and having a chance to win. At this point, that is pure coaching that kept us in.

These guys have been coached during the week and know what to do-so they keep coming back

These guys are in shape and much stronger than that of the Croomian error.

A quote from my OM brother and former coach: "Greg Byrne may just possibly have hired the best coaching staff in America. You (MSU) will have trouble keeping them."
