just called LFL an "eyesore". That pretentious 17 has lost his mind! It's such an "eyesore" that every team wanting to be recognized on the national baseball map has tried to copy it. He should really think before he speaks and try removing those red and blue Costas once in a while. I'm sure everyone that pulls a trailer in there could give 2 ***** about what Y'all Lifestyle thinks. I really wish there was a better choice in the am in central MS.

But the opinions of anyone who calls themselves YETI boy is insignificant. Those 7 letters put together in that order are an eyesore.

Just tried to google him to figure out who he is, and I wish him all the best with his record label business.

He likes to play it both ways and is somewhat successful in doing so which you

have to give him credit for I guess. I've heard he's actually a decent guy once you get past all the ********.

If he is focusing on asthetics then he is missing the point of the LFL. It

certainly isn't designed for beauty but it is designed for comradery, hospitality and sportsmanship at its best.

Exactly. He is so caught up in trying to impress people and make himself out to be so important and a worthy critic of the LFL that he misses the point of how it came to be and what it is for. It's the commoners thumbing their nose at the blue hairs. It's smoked hog vs Concession crap. It's heckling vs "down up front". It's rowdy vs reserved. It's cussing and drinking and pissing Mr Everett off.

I work with a respiratory therapist whose son is supposed to be quite a pitching prodigy. Dad is a huge OM fan. Guess where he spent last week. In LFL. Said he had a blast and hopes Cohen offers his son in another two years.

The more disappointing part for me was when Bounds and another caller essentially put the entire outfield area beyond the fence in charge of babysitting their kids. "You can't turn your 8 year old boy loose and tell him he can't climb on 75 trailers out there. He wouldn't listen if you did." That's some quality parenting right there. Yes there are safety issues with those structures. But the fact that they turn their kids loose out there while spouting over the airwaves how rickety the structures are gives me pause. If they are THAT rickety, why turn your kids loose to disobey you and climb all over these structures and potentially get killed as you mentioned on the radio? Oh yeah..so you can drink and socialize with your friends. By the way, their choice to rid themselves of their kids during the game so they can socialize and watch the game should not infringe on MY right socialize and watch the game.

Speaking of Yeti, I was in a store before Christmas and saw a Yeti cooler for 500$. Can somebody explain to me why a cooler is that expensive.

I'll preface this by saying that I haven't been to LFL or to a baseball game on campus since I was a student in the early '90s. I'm not a baseball guy and it's too far for a non-baseball guy to drive up from the coast to see a game there. I love tailgating for football games, though, so I'm sure the camaraderie that was mentioned in a previous post is outstanding in LFL.

However, if you think that the Athletic Department is going to raise and spend $20-$30 million on a rehab/new stadium and leave LFL as-is, you're kidding yourself.

If you fish as much as I do they are awesome. Are they worth that much? No. I got a 75qt for $100. I can fill my cooler up with fish on a Sunday and be able to clean them any day that week without having to change the ice.

I drink single malt scotch. I smoke cigars. I do so in sweat pants and thrift stores t-shirts.

I vacation a good bit but would never own a pair of croakies, costas or a yeti. I dont own a pair of khakis and only have 1 polo.

Not sure if I qualify.
