<a> </a> </div> <div class="body_relatedbox"> </div> </div><span class="body_text">The Alabama Crimson Tide is the national champions. Thursday night, the University of Alabama football team defeated the Texas Longhorns to win the BCS National Championship with a final score of 37-21.

Coach Nick Saban and the tide accepted the BCS trophy in the center of the Rose Bowl field Thursday night. Now, the trophy is heading to Tuscaloosa. This weekend fans can get up close and personal with the sparkling football. The trophy will be on display Saturday, January 9 at the Walmart Supercenter on Skyland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa, from noon until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, it will be in the Gardendale location on 890 Odum Road from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Fans should be able to have their picture taken with the trophy.</span>
