The previous few years I thought he classes were good even though their "awesome Florida recruits" were just left overs or Miami, FSU, USF, and Florida would have been all over them, OR a lot of their players wouldn't qualify for a year or two-Delvin Jones, Powe, Nick Parker, etc. BUT this year looks like a really good class. With the exception of Prewitt they look like they got a really good class so far. I'm not sold on Hutson bc in his video he's running over really small white kids. I also have concerns over their two players from MIAMI because I can't find an ACT score on them anywhere.<div>
</div><div>Either way they look to have a really good class this year.</div><div>
</div><div>ETA: I still think it's slightly inflated just like their previous classes because if you're from Florida you're pretty much a 3 star. We could probably do that if we wanted. I think last years class from ours is at least as good. There is no way you can look at players like Dillon Day and say he's a two star. Same with Muniz although he needs to gain weight. I also think Holmes is a huge sleeper. Apparently Mullen was furious with the staff for finding him so late.</div>

It is all based on what has been evaluated, ranked, and published... like what you are saying, it does not mean that a 2* isn't worth hitting the field. I seem to recall some of our better, more recent players with that same star ranking, now being paid to play pro ball.

Nick Parker has been cleared by the NCAA recently.

I know that and my point was several players either aren't cleared for a year or two or are not cleared right away.

Are all of your players cleared right away? Just asking.

So you think Alex Williams was a 3* solely because he was from Florida. Had nothing to do with Ark, UT, Michigan, etc offereing. Had nothing to do with him being allstate in football and basketball for two years straight.

You think Mike Marry got a three star rating for being from Florida...nothing to do with being 2nd team allstate in5A.

Most of these guys have the accolades and offers that go along with their rankings.

Dillion Day had ULM and La Tech offers before you committed him. Even your staff slow played him as a backup plan and stole him from LaTech at the last minute. And Muniz was a three star on rivals. And Holmeshadno other offers.

I don't always agree with the recruiting sites, but you are a little off base with the logic.

then you dont watch much football. Teams for years have been picking up guys that UF, FSU, and Miami don't have room for and putting them in the NFL. Just look at how USF comes out of the wood work with all Florida players that don't go to the big 3. When Wake Forest went to the BCS a large part of their roster was Florida kids. I could keep going, but Florida has so many people, there are more than just 75 high D1 players in that state every year.
