Remember when Auburn downed the ball at our 2.5 yard line. On the first play we got a holding penalty for half the distance, putting the ball just outside the 1. We end up picking up a first down at the 11. Since when ispicking up8.5 yards a first down?

We suck on defense and kicking the ball. I hope you enjoyed Memphis last week because with this defense and that kicking game, Memphis is the "best" we can hope for at season's end. I will go ahead and make my resevations for the Liberty Bowl. If is a very safe bet........ At least much safer that taking MSU and giving Auburn 7 on the road. That had to be the biggest sucker bet in the history of betting. Must be some rich some of guns out there that took Auburn.

This just in: Mississippi has a fantastic offense that can move the ball on less than quality defenses to date this year as we have faced probably 2 of the worst 3 defenses we will see all year in games 1 and 2 and yet......we come out of that 1-1. Let that crap sink in for a little bit.

I think that on the first series we actually had first and less than 10 after we replayed the first play of the game. The reason for this was that the holding occurred in front of the line of scrimmage and was half the distance to the goal, so we ended up having 1st and 9 or so.

It ended up at the 2.5 yard line after the holding call on the WR on Relf's run. The penalty was half the distance to the goal from the spot of the foul which was at the 5 yard line. Hence being at the 2.5 yard line. Chizik took the penalty to give us 1st & 8.5 instead of 2nd and 5.5 to go. He was kind of in a damned if he did, damned if he didn't position, but the refs didn't screw AU on the call or the spot.

earlier this week , no offense, but I'd prefer to see where the series started myself.

I tried to warn you guys that 17 winning seasons in51 plus years of following this team has not made me woolish or even a little furrish.

Doesn't help my feelings that the guy playing guitar and singing on the deck down here a FWB/Destin is a damn rebel-bear gloating after I had slammed his bear-cubs earlier. But at least I can revel in the bright sunshine and guzzle a few more beverages to drown my disgust at that cluster of a defense and kicking game I just witnessed in a bar full of Bama and Florida fans. Even that Bama fans jumped me because we didn't have the balls to take out AU.

It just sucks that we cannot beat those turds.
