its the fact that we are playing an undefeated Alabama team, ranked 2nd or 3rd in the nation, against one of the best coaches in the nation, and to a man on here- we honestly believe we have a chance to win the game. We all realize that we probably wont- but we do have a chance. And thats a great thing.

Thanks Doc...Thanks Ninja...I cant tell you how much I appreciate it.

seeing what Mullen and Co. have done with this year's group, that I'm seriously excited about what we could do next year with Cam Newton at QB.

Me too. We lose no one off our OL. We lose Dixon, Stallworth, Ducre and McCrae on offense and we lose Love, Chaney and Washington on defense.

The anticipation for this weekend is as high as it ever gets in Starkville. Byrne has truly done an amazing thing here for us by building our expectations. The day we lose him I expect Keenum or whoever in charge to find an AD that seeks to be the best just as Byrne has. The foundation he has laid as an Athletic Director will be hard to match when he leaves but atleast when we seek a future AD we will have a much better idea of what is needed and higher expectations out of them.

and I think Russell will give that. But having Cam, who is made for this offense, could be something extra.

Yep.

It is good to have the atmosphere, and more importantly, the "Hope" back.

Next year could be good. We have a lot of guys that are going to need to step up, especially if we don't get Cam, but i like the direction things are heading.

The guy making all of this happen for MSU is Greg Byrne. He's the one that we are going to have to pony up the cash for to hold on to before too long.

Or we could very well end up with Bart Gregory as our next AD. Nice guy-but he's no Ninja. Not even close.

We lose Jenkins who has played in 45 games during his career. He might not be our best offensive lineman but he brings a ton of experience to the unit. I think everyone is hoping Tobias Smith can finally get healthy and step in to replace Craig.

Forgot about Craig...regardless, we return a lot of experience next year on the OL...
