You know your program's turning the corner when the fans are pissed after a win.

I can't remember the last time I've seen so many people so pissed after a win. And that's good. We shouldall be pissed about the way MSU played last night. I know the coach is sure pissed. BUT, I was proud that the team found a way to win even when they were playing their worst. As DS and I have pointed out, a lot of teams would have lost last night. Most all of the MSU teams of the past would have.

I mean, damn, we weren't going to have our A game last night. Anybody who has ever played, or watched, or listened to college football should have expected what happened last night. A sandwich game. An emotionally spent team. A flat game, by a better, drained team, against a team jacked up for an SEC opponent, and better team guts it out and wins.

...between "being pissed" and "pissing and moaning."

I like the character the team displayed by fighting through not having their "A-game." Good experience builder. Higher caliber programs have this character.

What I see from our fans is a lack of respect for the efforts of a team who, on paper, is not as good as us. UAB came into our house with no fear, a good game plan and gave us hell for 4 quarters. Respect that.

...all it tells me is the small minority of MSU fans who post on sixpackspeak.com are idiots.

This board is a concealed echo chamber that seldom reflects what the larger, more reality-based MSU fanbase is feeling.

Believe me, if MSU would have won 52-7 last night, there would still be some form of bitching about it today on this board. Think about that for a moment.

Just wondering.

Oh and if you were at the game last night you would have seen the entire crowd pissed off at how we are playing. Yeah sixpack gets a little a nutty at times with criticism but you can't sit there and tell me you are happy about how we played last night and it showed at the stadium during the game.

abject melancholy about the bad play and giddiness that were bowl eligible, is the real place we should be.

I look for Russel to start getting more snaps this week and more PT. If we can find a pass offense and defense, we'll beat UK badly, otherwise its a very close game

"Instead of patting them on the back," Mullen said, "kick them in the rear end, tell them they've got to get going."

...it's hard to argue against my idiots accusation when you admire the one poster who literally keeps the only legitimate sixpackspeak.com moderator off this board.

In other words, HD6 will not even intervene to rescue his messageboard because idiots like you keep singing the praises of coach34.

Therefore concerning the original point I made in this thread, I rest my case.

We didn't play well, but it came after a huge emotional win. Our team is beat up badly. Physically we are spent and need an open date.

All I said was that coach actually makes an argument (that I disagree with 90% of the time). You bring nothing.......ever.
