that if the videos on the Famous Maroon Band facebook page are any indication, there will be no more Dawg Pound Rock in this year's pregame show. They finally got the message that it was terrible.

Looks like we may have another "Scott Field Tradition" on our hands with America The Beautiful. Not that I'm opposed to America The Beautiful, just how we seem to deem everything a "Scott Field Tradition" when we've never done it before.

the DPR was after the Star Spangled Banner; now the FMB will ring cowbells as they run to the S-T-A-T-E spellout.

Yeah, I thought it was odd that, last year, the Star Spangled Banner was announced as a "Scott Field Tradition". Very unique tradition we have.

....if America The Beautiful is replacing that awful Lee Greenwood song, I'm all for it. It's not 1987, we can let that one go.

I'm glad because I was embrassed doing the DPR in 1999, because I'm white, and if I was on the team, Jackie would not have been able to put me on the coverage unit because I couldn't do the damn dance. I could hear Kenzaki saying- ehh...let's just put Todd in the middle and we'll cover him up.

If I was on the team, I probably would have had to spend more time on the Dawg Pound Rock than lifting weights or learning plays- combined.

I also was embarassed as a former member watching it last year.
