All of the arm chair quarterbacks on this site who could coach better than any coach we've ever had.
Hal Mumme...I hated the gimmicks and he sent us into probation due to lack of oversight. Yeah, his offense was exciting but he didn't give a crap about defense.
bball= Tubby. When he came here, many believed there would be a continuation of Petino ball. We learned quickly that was not the case. He played one of the least entertaining brands of the game I ever saw. Additionally, his brand of play could not consistently attract Ky level players. His teams consistently underperformed.
Football= Probably Joker. He'd never been a head coach, then comes in and tries to do things differently that the way Brooks had done them. Then he starts talking about doing things (that were similar to how Claiborne had coached) and I knew we were in for problems. Had JP simply been a continuation of Rich Brooks, we'd be fine right now.

Nance - a 6'5 ex-special agent of the FBI and martial arts instructor... that would have been one sweet beat down.

Mark Stoops, Bill Curry, Phil Fulmer and for whatever reason I despise Urban Myer...don't really know why.
Also can't stand that Michigan coach or Charlie Front-Butt Weiss.
Belicheck can go to hell too. Same with Notre dame coach and whoever that punk is that currently coaches Tennessee.

Hal was under the microscope in recruiting in his Valdosta State days. And, it has been said he always pushed the limits of the rules of recruiting. Yet, CM Newton hired him and the result was a probation one step away from the "Death Penalty."
Yet, posters on this board yearn for his "excitement" Hal has failed or been fired from every coaching position since. Yet, he is the father of the "Air Raid" offense a number of coaches adapted.
All that is history today as offenses have changed and Hal sits in limbo with a career wasted, but an anger fueled by what could have been.
Ah, but they do win football games. We remain squeaky clean and nowhere near even a sniff of attention from the NCAA.

Bradshaw would have also been my choice. I have no idea why he thought players needed to be treated as badly as he treated them. Seems like I remember the Cats selected Bradshaw rather than Claiborne because it was thought Bradshaw would be the second coming of Bear Bryant.

Bradshaw also, thought himself to be the next Bear Bryant. Bradshaw recruiting in the first 2 years was better than even Stoops'.

LOL I remember that it was awesome!!! Nance would have beat him so bad.
1. Stoops he's incompetent plus passes the blame around to everyone. Then his whole got to do better, got to get back to work crap.
2. Joker was just not head coaching material.
