Looks like an rpo and shapen should have handed it off. The RB would have had one LB to make miss and we had three WRs out ready to block up top

Yeah. It’s hard to know what’s happening on any given play because the ball can go so many places.

To me the bigger issue is LT kind of quits on the play. That might have only been a strip sack if he at least tries to stay on his block. Who knows, he might have even recovered it.

It's an RPO. Supposed to engage a little with his guy then move up to the second level.

Shapen made the wrong read, and then doubled down by standing like a statue in the pocket on an RPO.

Lewis got whipped, but Shapen made the worse mistake.

Looked like a play action pass and the left tackle made a mistake on where he stepped first.

Even if it was an RPO he made a mistake at left tackle.

Yall are blind or stupid. Like a statue? The GD end was shot out of a cannon at him.

Lebby apparently said it was a pass all the way. Not sure why we blocked it that way. Shapen sure didn’t treat it as RPO bc he keeps his eyes down at the fake handoff so there is no way he could read anything

That's what my old running back/QB coach always called a "look out" block because if that's the way a lineman blocked he told them they damn sure better have the decency to yell "look out" to his QB before he got lit up, like Shapen did yesterday

A lot of posters have already decided everything that’s wrong with the team is Shapen’s fault. It’s like Cowboy fans and Dak.
Is it okay to be optimistic about the team and also critical of some execution? I thought that was okay for message boards not named genespage.

Hard to stay on a block on your belly.

Intelligent criticism is ok. Saying kamario should be starting is 89 iq level intelligence

Confusing me with an optimistic poster is funny. Everyone I know says I’m pessimistic about everything.

Im just saying put the blame where it lays. The offensive line’s pass blocking is the turd in the punch bowl. He barely has 3 seconds to make a decision. Yes I yell about him holding on the ball too long. It’s not because he’s holding it too long. It’s because his oline isn’t allowing enough time for the home run to develop.

Yes. The offense is only going as far as the o line allows it. Shapen could be better but the offense line could be way better. I hope the NIL decision makers are paying attention.

If we spent $15,000,00 on NIL this year and this is our OL, we did not spend wisely.
