your two favorite all time players, offense and defense?

Onkotz may have been the best LB we've ever had. Jack is my favorite both for his playing and for being a genuinely nice guy
Dennis was ineligible to play as a freshman, made 2nd team All American as a Sophomore, and Consensus 1st team as a Junior and Senior.
Offense - The Backup QB
Defense - The stud defensive recruit.

For defense, I'll probably say Jack Ham
For offense, just can't skip on the only PSU player I personally know, Gary Klingensmith. But coming in close 2nd is John Urschel because he is a mathematician like @LionJim and me.

After nearly 60 years of "do or die Penn State Football," narrowing the field to only 2 is almost impossible for me. But I'm a team player ... so

Bobby Engram is near and dear to me. Watched him haul in two bombs right in front of me at MSU in 93 for a huge comeback win then we watched him catch the game winner at UM a year later.

I think we’re supposed to vote for OSUs tiramisu (who cares how you spell it) based upon the other bucknut thread wanting us to claim him the greatest of all time. 
Whoever said it above I agree with. It’s way too hard to pick only one on each side of the ball.

I was just too young to be able to watch Reid or Ham live but they are certainly worthy. Same with Onkotz.

Mike Robinson was a hell of a leader, none better.
He Led by example and played where the team needed him. He loved JoePa too. That was evident. I always thought JoePa should’ve rode off into the sunset after that Orange Bowl win. It was so special.
I remember a noteworthy Aaron Harris Appreciation Thread way way back when we had Thread View. It went on for pages, all of which Marsh CE printed out to give to AH’s parents, who he would see at church. Cool story, tbh.

Yeah, a great person too, great teammate. He had a Courtney Brown-type mindset, if that makes any sense.
Mike Reid and Franco Harris - both in part for what they did off the field after football, but they were among our greatest players as well.
