Are you sure about that, because my YT account is set to record every UK game, and it did not record that game.
i'm not talking about YouTube TV my dude. i'm talking about regular YouTube...two completely 180 degree different things. and yes i'm positive because i watched it with my own eyes as i have the past several years without paying a single hard earned penny to any TV subscription.

Yeah, unless you find another streaming service or they reach an agreement. I told my wife they had a few days to figure it out. We'll be out of the town this weekend, so I'm not worried about the UK Auburn game. We dropped YouTube TV the last time they did a price hike but ultimately went back. The sad thing is, they have the superior live tv streaming package and they know it. That's why they don't seem to worry about losing customers but if I have to drop them this time, it might be for good. These disputes are getting old.

Here is all I know. I have YouTube TV. I downloaded the ESPN app. When one of these games come up, I go to the ESPN box that pops up with all of the other apps on startup. I hit ESPN box and the game is there. I have not paid anything to watch it on ESPN.

This won’t work anymore for you if you have your ESPN account tied to your YouTube tv account. The ESPN app isnt free. SEC network plus is though but that doesn’t work as of this morning since it’s tied to my YouTube tv account. The games haven’t been on ESPN plus, they have been on SEC Network plus and without a cable provider or streaming provider you will not be able to watch the games there.

ESPN put out a statment today blaming YouTube TV, as they have been doing all along in the negotiations. Here's what's weird to me: ESPN has a big opportunity to tout their stand alone service, but they're not doing that. It probably says a lot about how much money they are shaking down the carriers for every time a contract expires.

You can watch a game on regular YouTube live?
News to me.
I've watched many after they've concluded.

yes and have been able to for years. all you have to do is search, kentucky vs 'opponents name' --and like magic it appears. you can also do the same thing in google or other search engines. games are always streamed by several different people. and used to do it myself for many thousands at once back in the good ole days over 10 years ago...the good ole....."justin tv" days i'm sure some still remember ; )

When Spectrum and ESPN had a lapse a couple years ago at the start of football I had to get Hulu Live for a month. Now you could just get the ESPN standalone service, which is almost certainly what they're hoping you do.

Have you tried today?
I wasn't aware that a YouTubeTV subscription enabled you to watch ESPN+ for free
Only SEC+
In the past it has always worked. I turned the service back on last night and watched the game via the app on the big screen. Guess I’ll call and cancel it. F

UPDATE L: I called YoutubeTv and complained. They offered me a 20 dollar credit and a free week but I said I want a refund since they can’t provide the advertised service. They refunded the entire amount for the month. The call took 8 minutes total. It took me longer to find the number than it did to get a refund.

If you’re gonna want a credit or refund I’ll save you some time. Here is the number: 833-389-2054.

I do this bc the majority of games I'm at work anyway. Do it this way, and its like I get paid to watch the Cats. 😁

I would be incredibly annoyed if there wasn’t a Game 7 on Fox tonight. I don’t think I can hang with YouTube TV very long if this persists

I keep both DTV and Youtube for this very reason. DTV let's you pause for up to 9 months, no questions asked. So I do DTV during sports season (October 1 - March 30) and then go with Youtube TV April 1 through the end of September.

I paused YTTV from April-Aug this year. May do what you’re doing.
DTV can't afford to be without ESPN, etc. during sport seasons so I feel pretty safe. I also LOVE how you can go back and forth between two recorded shows on DTV that are going on at the same time. You just record two things you want to watch and then go to the recording a minute after it starts for both, start them and then go back and forth and it is always where you left off. Doing it right now with the World Series and UK game.

Hulu and/or Disney Plus may give a reasonable option to ESPN with the top tier ESPN package till this blows over.

Both ESPN and YTTV are pointing fingers at each other. Each trying to screw the other on the next contract with zero regard for those of us in the middle. My guess is YTTV will cave as ESPN has many carriage options and doesn’t really need them. Then YTTV will turn around and screw us, again, as the cost will run down hill.
