YTTV Again

Got an email, saying that ESPN Unlimited is now on YTTV, at no extra cost. This is the original base plan.

At the end of the Live Listings, ESPN now has a listing that now opens that stuff up.

So far I like mine. I can record, watch it on my phone, laptop, seemingly find any sport I want. What's the advantage to the ESPN app ?

I swapped to YTTV. It's been fantastic. Xfinity can suck it.

Yeah. Last weekend building multiviews from games that used to only be available in the ESPN app was fantastic. Plus I don’t have to enter my credentials every 6 hours.

I watched our game for free on regular old You Tube. I did the same for most games last year, a couple times they weren't available. Last year sometimes the ads would come on during game action, but this year they were pretty aligned.

I left YTTV a little over a year ago but am back as of a couple of weeks ago. There’s just not anything close to their user interface and ease of use. Also the ability to customize multi views and basically never have to use the ESPN app again is clutch. Will be amazing for basketball and baseball season.

I had to watch on regular YouTube this past weekend and i had a ton of ads during live action. The 70 yrs td was interrupted by an add about the time KT let go of the ball. Friggin pissed

YouTube Premium Light is $7.99/month and takes away all ads except during music/concerts. If you want those to go away I think its $15.99/mo for YouTube Premium. I've got the light version and really like it, its the only app I pay more for no ads for.

I remember your bringing us this "announcement" last week and didn't pay much attention to it until Saturday morning and my "Home" was full of ESPN+ games. Pretty cool and kind of amazing that they just gave it to me "free". Just a way to get new subs?
That said, I don't know that I'll watch much of anything on ESPN+ but hey, it's "free" (for now) and available if something comes up I'm interested in.
Been on YTTV since the "DTV war" a year ago and absolutely love everything about it.
