I know he sucks in coverage, but has anyone else thought about how he would play at strong side linebacker in Diaz's defense? He is outstanding in run support and no one else has won the job outright yet. Considering that strong side linebacker in the Diaz defense is like a linebacker/safety hybrid, I don't see him as a bad fit for the position. In fact, I think he would easily be more effective there than at safety.

I've always thought he was an undersized LB trying to play safety. That's exactly what he would be though - undersized. He would have toput on 20 pounds just tohave a chance and I'm not sure he has the frame todo that. Then there is the whole issue with concussions that doesn't fit well with LB.

He's been very good atavoiding the players on the other team, and his best moments have been in the backfield.

he's out of position when he drops back into coverage. I think he should've been returning kickoffs at some point too.</p>
