Anyone got the scoop on how his visit went? I really like this guy after watching the Elite 11 videos and his highlight video on the front page of sixpack. I know we just got a QB but I want Greenlee to sign too. Can't we afford to lose one of our 8 WR committs and get Greenlee instead?

Most are saying his visit went well, but supposedly we aren't taking another QB. Williams rounded out our QB recruiting for the year.

He couldn't of liked seeing Damian commit on the same weekend he was there. At the end of the day, he is a kid that wants to start somewhere, and i doubt he commits with the possibility of Cord (probably going pro, the future here if he doesn't) and Damian coming in this season.

However, I would like to see Zach commit here for depth purposes. You never know he could be the guy one day.

So, why even bring Greenlee in then? Was it whoever accepted first gets the

the scholly? Maybe we thought we weren't going to get Greenlee, IDK.

Last I heard, we would still accept his commitment if he wanted to give it...

Williams is versatile in that he can play other positions if not @ QB. So, I wouldn't think his decision directly affects Greenlee either way. Guess we'll see...

Might have decided staying near home was better than going to school cross country. Just my hunch. And I'm not worried about QB depth now. We'll at least have 3 on the roster next year with a walk-on as the 4th. Assuming we sign someone next year, we'll have the same in 2014.

Im prob late on this but who is this Mullen kid committed to USM? He accepted an offer after we plucked Williams.... Alabama Gatorade POY fwiw

I forgot to add this: On the 5oclock news in Hattiesburg, WDAM sports guy said, and i quote "Mullens was previously committed to Mississippi State" He had a smirk.

If that's true, what a dubmass approach...just roll the dice on two QB's on one weekend...maybe snake eyes.

I have no idea that was the approach, i was speculating. Out top 2 qb targets said they weren't coming for a visit and wadn't going to commit to us. With only two weekends till signing day, i think we had to get someone that played qb on campus.

I'm interning at the same school Mullens goes to.

He committed to UAB a couple weeks ago then jumped to USM when we got Williams. He's a decent QB but not what Mullen is looking for. Definitely C-USA material.
