I agree on the suspension. The situation says it wasn't intentional. Of course no one but Grienke knows for sure.

Quentin has been hit an insane amount of times in his career. He has to send a message to pitchers. It's something ridiculous like once every 25 at bats he gets hit. It's shortening his career because of it. I bet Quentin doesn't get hit nearly as much by pitchers now that he made a stand.

Does he lean over the plate? Does he lean into pitches? He might want to invest in some body armor when batting.

I dont know about all the rest of the times, but yesterday

he made absolutely no effort to move out of the way. He didnt even flinch. I know it can be hard to get out of the way but he never even tried.

He's sending a message just like the over 100 pitchers that have hit him are sending him a message by pitching up and in and hitting him. Enough is enough.

That's his M-O. He never gets out of the way. The dude is a bull and doesn't mind getting beaned at all. He can't stay healthy because of it either. I think he's missed a lot of games because of getting hit on the hands and elbow. Like everyone is saying, it makes no sense for Greinke to plunk him, but it also did make any sense for Greinke to take that SOB head-on. He should have tried to "o lay" him Pedro Martinez style.

I really hate it for the Dodgers.**

Anyone see the Dodgers' twitter account? It's been pretty funny. You normally don't see an organization talk about something like this in the way they have over social media.

Also, Greinke is on my fantasy team. So I'm angry.

That's tough for Zack, but 17 the dodgers. Partly because I can't stand teams that try to buy championships and then partly because I happen to be a Giants fan of 30 years. Seriously, 17 'em all
