The negativity got his *** fired and got them the best coach in college football at the time. They won 2 national titles with a coach that knew what he was doing. If you can't win at Florida, you really suck as a football coach.

Focus was on the concept of negativity, not whether or not a coaching change is sometimes warranted. Sometimes it is and sometimes it's not. In their case it worked. Then the talent ran out and bad characters were recruited. And then Meyer left. I agree that winning a Florida should be a no brainer, unlike some other SEC schools.

Zook's head football coaching knowledge got him a job at the bank where he now works.

Zook is 100% right on this.
“Just because you succeed a great coach doesn’t mean the program is in great shape and the cupboard is full when you take over,” he said. “Will took over a program that wasn’t in the best of shape.
“There’s a reason coaches leave programs. Coach Spurrier didn’t just wake up one day in January (2001) and say, ‘I’m going to the Washington Redskins.’ He knew he didn’t have a lot coming back the following year. At least that’s my opinion.”
Both Spurrier and Meyer left Florida with a lot less talent than they should have. Zook left them with a lot of talent. I'm not so sure Muschamp will. And there's no way he survives this season.

Except his first year. Also a couple of #1 rated classes and a #2. I think his last class was rated #1 so he set Muschamp up with talent.

How much does he make? Is he available? He's a crooter. I doubt he takes it, but I like his former title at UF (Assoc. HC/ST/S)

The talent has not run out, muschamp is just a terrible head coach, and so was zook.
