Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban has been speaking his mind on all things college football. And when he was not laying into other programs and their recruiting methods using NIL and the transfer portal, the Alabama head man delivered some insight into how his program is run. For Saban, in order to have a culture of winning, it must start within the locker room.

“Well I think if the players really want to win, I think a culture of winning starts in the locker,” said Saban on the Paul Finebaum Show. “Starts with the leadership on your team, starts with everybody buying into the principles and values of the program on the standard that you want to compete too, which in effect is the best thing for them. That’s what creates the most value for them. And that’s what we’re going to continue to try to emphasize in our program. We’re going to adapt when we have to adapt to the new environment. But we’re also going to keep in mind that our focus needs to be on creating value for our players.”

Saban has definitely put together a winning recipe when it comes to college football. Since joining the Crimson Tide after leaving the Miami Dolphins in 2007, Saban and Alabama have accounted for six national championships. His six is more than the rest of the SEC combined at five. So, if Saban says a winning culture starts in the locker room, believe him; he has the hardware to prove it.

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has hilarious reaction to Nick Saban’s NIL comments

Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban is setting social media ablaze with his recent take on Texas A&M and head coach Jimbo Fisher. And everybody is here for it, especially Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin. After Saban’s comments about the Aggies’ activity in NIL via Twitter, Kiffin quote tweeted the post with a Peyton Manning GIF attached to it.

In the comments, Saban takes exception to Fisher’s recruiting methods after the Aggies landed the top recruiting class of 2022. Alabama head coach goes as far as to accuse Fisher of buying his players through NIL deals.

Right now, it is unclear whether the allegations levied against the Texas A&M head coach by Saban are valid. But for Lane Kiffin and the rest of the world watching this unfold, that does not matter right because this whole saga is pure entertainment.
