Alabama fans celebrated Saturday’s Iron Bowl win by joining together for a rendition of a classic. The Crimson Tide defeated Auburn by a score of 28-14 to finish out the regular season with a 9-3 record in the first year under coach Kalen DeBoer.

Fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium broke out into song after the victory in what must have been an incredible display to experience in person. You can view the moment below.

Alabama never trailed in the win as it jumped out to a 7-0 advantage and at one point led 28-6 after scoring on its first two drives of the second half. Jalen Milroe rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns in the victory, while also throwing for 256 yards on 18-of-24 passing.

The victory against the Tigers marked the fourth straight Iron Bowl win for Alabama and its fifth in the past six meeting. The Crimson Tide own a 50-37-1 all-time advantage in the rivalry.

Kalen DeBoer makes case for Alabama to make College Football Playoff

Kalen DeBoer made the case for Alabama to make the College Football Playoff following a win over Auburn in the Iron Bowl.

A 9-3 record against a tough schedule is definitely one argument for the Crimson Tide. They also beat Georgia, which plays for the SEC title next week.

DeBoer credited Alabama for the wins against ranked competition as a big reason why there should be a spot in the 12-team bracket reserved for the Tide.

“I think everyone’s aware of our schedule, and I don’t know the exact stats, but I know we beat four top-25 teams throughout the year,” DeBoer said. “I don’t know how many, if anyone, has done that. So when you talk about the schedule and what it is week to week. It’s just a grind and having to come back every week, that’s really the only conference that has to do that is ours. That’s what I’d say. We won (four) of our last six. Playing some physical football.

“I think we’ve continued to excel in that area, doing what the games are all about. So I think those are two pretty big deals. We beat some high-quality teams, teams that are still out there, I believe, playing some good ball themselves. And then just winning (four) of the last six at the back half of the season.”
