Alabama RB Roydell Williams enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Alabama Crimson Tide running back Roydell Williams has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Williams has spent the last four seasons with the Crimson Tide. Over his time in Tuscaloosa, the running back has amassed 234 carries for 1,165 yards and 11 touchdowns, while adding 21 receptions for 152 yards and two touchdowns.

During the Rose Bowl against Michigan, Williams only carried the ball once for negative one yards, not seeing the field much for the Crimson Tide.

Roydell Williams played high school football at Hueytown (AL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 86 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

As a recruit, Williams drew heavy interest from numerous SEC programs. Time will tell where he takes his talents in 2024.
