Alabama trending for 5-star CB Dijon Lee

Kalen DeBoer and the new staff at Alabama are still looking to land their first five-star prospect in their inaugural full recruiting cycle in Tuscaloosa.
Mission Viejo (Calif.) five-star cornerback Dijon Lee may be just who they’re looking for.
The Crimson Tide are currently trending to land Lee, per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), at 87 percent. Oregon insider Max Torres and USC insider Scott Schrader have both logged expert predictions — at 60 percent and 65 percent, respectively — for Alabama to receive Lee’s commitment.
Lee visited Tuscaloosa in late April and recapped his ‘great visit’ with BamaOnLine.
“It went good. It was a great visit,” Lee said. “Connecting with the coaches really well. I had a great time out there. Connected really well with the players. Got to know Zabien Brown a little bit better. Talked with Domani [Jackson]. I just had a great visit.”

On the trip, he had the chance to spend time with Alabama cornerbacks coach Maurice Linguist.
“We actually connected really well this time because we had a lot more in common than I thought. That was great. That’s my guy right there,” said Lee, who expects Linguist to stop by his school next week or the week after. “He’s a great coach. He coached with the Dallas Cowboys. He was a head coach before this. Everybody knows he knows what he’s talking about.
“I’ve seen a couple of players that go to the school now, like Zabien… I’ve just seen him improve a lot ever since he got there,” Lee continued. “That’s what really stood out to me.”
Dijon Lee Recruit Profile
Lee is the nation’s No. 30 overall prospect, No. 5 cornerback and top recruit from California in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Scouting Summary: “Dijon Lee is fluid and long-limbed corner prospect who can turn and mirror wide receivers at the highest level. Extremely impressive physical specimen for the position measuring in at 6-foot-4, 185 pounds during summer campus visits. Tested well in explosive drills during camp settings. Testing translates to the track as well jumping 20-foot-10 in the long jump and 44-foot-6 in the triple jump during his sophomore track and field season. High points and breaks up passes with his length and reactive quickness. Solid run support defender who is more than willing to play downhill. Upside is tremendous. Could potentially kick to safety down the line if he adds significant mass.”
