Former Tarleton State PF Keitenn Bristow commits to Alabama

Former Tarleton State power forward Keitenn Bristow committed to Alabama out of the NCAA transfer portal, according to an announcement on Twitter. He entered the portal March 24th.
In his lone season at Tarleton State, as a freshman, was named WAC Freshman of the Year. He played in 23 games with 19 starts and finished third on the team averaging 11.3 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game across 26.3 minutes per game.
Now, Bristow will join Nate Oats and Alabama that’s fresh off an Elite Eight appearance. If there’s a natural course of development, Bristow could turn into one of the better players in the SEC.
Bristow played his high school basketball at Holiday High School in Texas. The Lone Star kid will now take his talents to the state of Alabama.

Alabama land Keitenn Bristow in transfer portal
Bristow was the latest portal news regarding Alabama basketball. It’s a nice addition considering Derrion Reid left and committed to Oklahoma.
Reid spent this past season as a freshman at Alabama. He’d average 6.0 points (45% FG, 26.3% 3PT) and 2.8 rebounds per game in 24 appearances, three of those being starts, for the Crimson Tide. He dealt with injury the year, though, with double-digit absences from the lineup, including just nine appearances from on after mid-January, because of a hamstring issue.
Reid, a native of Grovetown, Georgia, played his high school basketball at Prolific Prep in Napa, California after originally starting at Grovetown High School. He was the No. 16 overall recruit as a four-star in the 2024 cycle. He also rated as the No. 6 SF in the class and the No. 1 player out of the state of California. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’d then commit to ‘Bama as their top signee of four who made up the No. 3 class in the country in ’24 with only one of those recruits to now be back next year in Tuscaloosa.
