WATCH: Alabama goes wild in locker room following upset win over Houston

Alabama became just the second team ever to beat two No. 1-ranked teams before the new year, taking down Houston on Saturday. Coming back from the dead in the second half, it’s a gritty win for Nate Oats’ team and the head coach paid the price for it.
When Oats walked into the road locker room, his team was ready to celebrate. Water and Gatorade were flung into the air, soaking the head coach. Oats was loving every second of it, giving out hugs and even being lifted into the air by players.
Posting the video on Twitter, Alabama had some fun trolling the Cougars as well. Check out the full moment here.
Alabama got to celebrate after defeating North Carolina, the other-top ranked team the Crimson Tide were able to take down. Water was the only ammunition players had at their disposal in Portland, with the Gatorade being new on Saturday.
“They got me, I don’t mind,” Oats said on getting drenched. “If we keep beating No. 1 teams, we can take this to the cleaners. They got me with Gatorade instead of just water this game, so I’m going to have to actually take a shower this time.”

Well, if Oats does not mind, Alabama will have a couple more opportunities over the next week to celebrate some big wins.
Memphis is next on the schedule, coming to Coleman Colesium on Tuesday for a potentially ranked matchup. It’s another back-end of a highly contested home-and-home series Oats put on the schedule for Alabama.
Gonzaga will come the following week on a “neutral site”, with the game taking place in Birmingham. Mark Few’s squad will be looking to return the favor after getting beat in Seattle a year ago.
If there’s anybody who wants to win those two games more than Oats, it’s the local Tuscaloosa dry cleaning service.
