IMG Academy (Fla.) five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson IV received an offer from Arkansas Tuesday. He announced the news on Twitter.

Robinson is the No. 7 overall prospect and No. 1 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Florida.

On3 rates Robinson higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 2 overall prospect, No. 1 cornerback and No. 1 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Robinson holds 29 Power Five offers.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Georgia with a narrow lead over Alabama to land a commitment from Robinson.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Robinson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $141K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Ellis Robinson IV Scouting Summary

“Ball-hawking defensive back with elite length and ability to make plays on the ball as a high school underclassman. Dominated competition in New York’s Catholic league as a sophomore, bringing in eight interceptions. Made several impressive, acrobatic picks. Has advanced ball skills as a cornerback, which he pairs with outstanding length. Measured in at 5-foot-11.5, 169 pounds with a 6-foot-7 wing-span prior to his junior season. Also tests as a very good athlete, running a 4.56 second electronically-timed 40-yard dash. Transferred to IMG Academy for his junior season and should see an uptick in competition as a high school upperclassman.”
