4-star WR Noreel White commits to Arkansas

Ocean Springs (Miss.) St. Martin four-star wide receiver Noreel White has committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. He announced the news on Twitter.
White is the No. 292 overall prospect and No. 48 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 8 player in Mississippi.
His decision comes a few days after an unofficial visit to Fayetteville. He picked the Razorbacks over Florida State, LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
White was originally set to commit on Feb. 7 but decided to delay that announcement until he was 100% sure on where he was going according to On3’s Chad Simmons.
While Ole Miss and LSU were considered the favorites at the time, Simmons noted, “Arkansas is a sleeper I am told. He likes the staff in Fayetteville, and if there is a No. 3 school on White’s list, it would be the Razorbacks are we get ready to head into the month of March.”

White is the third commitment in Arkansas’ 2024 recruiting class and second player to commit to the Razorbacks this month. He joins four-star defensive lineman Kavion Henderson and three-star defensive lineman Dion Stutts.
The Razorbacks class ranks as the No. 18 class in the country and the No. 10 class in the SEC. Arkansas signed 20 players during the 2023 recruiting cycle and that class finished No. 23 in the country and No. 10 in the SEC.
White currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $48K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
