WATCH: Eric Musselman stars alongside Arkansas players in hilarious back to school video
Arkansas head basketball coach Eric Musselman is quite the character. The narrow-framed 57-year-old is two generations removed from the players he coaches, yet brings more energy and passion to Razorback hoops than anyone on the planet.
His latest attempt to fire folks in Fayetteville up was a back to school boogie. where he and five-star freshmen Nick Smith and Anthony Black danced and DJ’d their way through a 30-second Welcome Back To School video for the University of Arkansas. You can watch the trio celebrate the return of fall classes right here, as posted on Eric Musselman’s Twitter account.
What a jam. DJ Musselman on the mic, flanked by two future lottery picks. All dressed straight out of a 1980’s high school. Coach Musselman in a gaudy sweater with a deep V-neck. Nick Smith nerding out with a neck-tie around the collar of his polo and a pencil in his ear. And Anthony Black, with suspenders overtop a buttoned-to-the-top school polo and clear-framed glasses. Muss looks like the teacher and Smith and Black the pets.
Funny stuff from Musselman and the two freshmen. Who are about to start their collegiate careers academically after already getting a taste of college life on the court during the Razorbacks’ trip to Europe for a few exhibitions.

The school years gets started this week at most colleges across the country. Freshman are piling into dorms as everyone returns to campus. About time for the Hogs freshmen to get familiar with their classrooms for the first (and maybe last) time. All that good stuff before basketball ramps up in early November.
Just another month or so still practice really starts getting serious for these guys. Then it’s on to exhibitions and straight into the season. Still a while away but basketball is getting closer.
