2025 top prospect Elijah Griffin earns Auburn offer

Savannah (Ga.) Savannah Christian Prep four-star EDGE Elijah Griffin has picked up an offer from Auburn.
On3 does not yet rank recruits during their sophomore seasons but does release a preseason Watch List of 100 recruits. Griffin made the list and was one of the two players to be given a grade of 92.
“Griffin immediately jumped out among the defensive line group with his size and on-field athleticism,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said. “The 6-foot-3.5, 270-pounder is an explosive athlete with violent finishing ability. We saw him line up as a big defensive end for Savannah Christian as a freshman and make high-level plays on a consistent basis. The athleticism checks out in the combine setting as well, where Grififn posted an electronically-timed 5.14 second 40-yard dash and vertical leap over 34 inches at the All-American Bowl Underclassman Combine in January.”

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $92k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Elijah Griffin visited South Carolina this weekend
Griffin spent this past weekend visiting South Carolina, which was his first visit of the 2022 football season.
“It was about the same thing, the atmosphere and the coaching staff,” Griffin told Gamecock Central. “There are great people there. A great city. The fans are electric.”
